• <H3> After concluding that the economy (not only of the US of A’s, but the world economy, at large) was in a very tenuous condition, I realized that I really ought to try to “shore up”  and prepare for the ‘could-be-could- happen’ consequences of the coming financial meltdown…and concluded that the only real substance to have as an asset, would be gold. The probability of you, the visitor, coming to the same conclusions, would depend on how much truth one would be willing to handle, and how much one would be willing to educate one’s self as to:
• <H3> the global economic situation and
• <H3> the properties, qualities, and aspects of gold (money)—AND
• <H3> whether said information resonates with you or not. . .
• <H3> AND…(back to ‘why’) that others similar to myself need to hold some gold too. I deduced that these others may not know they need to hold some gold (hence the educational aspect), OR that they may know, but simply cannot afford to plop down $1200-$1300.00 or thereabouts, to obtain an ounce of gold… or more, of course, for that matter (again, similar to myself)– hence the accumulate-some-gold-a-little-at-a-time aspect.
• <H3> SO… Quite simply, overall, it is my purpose at this time to get gold into the hands of as many of us “common folk” as is humanly possible, as the more of us who can weather the storm, the better off humanity’s outcome in the end. As Peter Schiff of Euro-Pacific Capital puts it: “ …Gold is what protects the people from the reckless policies of government —  gold is government’s ‘chaperone’. Yes, gold is the enemy of government, but it is the friend of freedom; it’s the protector of individuals from government”

• <H1> EDUCATION??? LEARNING (TEACHING) OR programming- NOT THE SPIRIT OF PLAY
• <H3> I’ve been saying for all of my life, that education was, and still is, rigged. (So what isn’t, anyway? And why should we expect this to be any different? Ran across this post on http://wakeup-world.com/2013/06/04/autistic-boy-discovers-gift-after-removal-from-state-run-therapy/#comment-321928 and had everything I’ve ever thought about education, validated. If you think about it, learning is really PROGRAMMING. … what they want you to THINK is true, and should you find out that this is actually what education is designed for, the rest of the herd will attempt to ‘reel you back in. Should you come up with a better, smarter, more effective solution to the problems posed on those oh-so-many ‘tests’ they deliver to monitor your…. uh…. behavior?? And should you venture into uncharted territories you’ll downright be flunked, held back or whatever… you have not taken the programming well. The only and I mean ONLY way to learn about life… or ANYTHING for that matter is to get out there and do it. THAT is what tells you what’s true, real, genuine, valid, better, etc. It’s the difference between knowing, REAL KNOWING, and just knowing about. The first one is certainty resulting in success, and the second one is riddled with BELIEF SYSTEMS. This young lad really KNOWS what he KNOWS because he even studied his own success and explored it and totally KNOWS what works and what doesn’t because he explored it from his own unique perspective. And as the fellow says ‘you’re doing it all wrong’ ‘Forget everything you know… stop LEARNING (being programmed) and START THINKING, and perhaps you’ll CREATE something.’
• <H1> Spiritual Economics- Until We Meet Again, Please Fare Well
• <H3> It’s with genuine sadness that I relay that Mary Elizabeth Croft has cancelled her blog, spiritualeconomicsnow.net. I don’t really have confirmation as to why, but I suspect from our abbreviated email communications that she might have come to the conclusion that the majority of people really don’t want to wake up, and the futility in attempting to help mankind perhaps got to her. I hate that–if this is so– this may be the case.
• <H3> Like a little brat, I resent having to bid farewell to this friend and sister blogger, and inspiration to so many who began their journey into “knowing who we are”.  Although we never met, it was her e-book, “How I Clobbered Every Cash Confiscating Agency Known to Man”   (I think that is the correct title- please forgive me if I’m wrong, Mary) that struck into the depths of my soul and awakened me to ‘I KNEW something was fishy’. 
• <H3> Ms. Croft created quite a buzz with her ebook, and took her studies (and our tag-along-journey) to new levels, and I believe really succeeded in nailing many of the problems of our planet today; most distinctly, those that would, and do, enslave us. It was through her disseminating knowledge as she learned it, and being empowered through the same, that I ventured into the light of daring to consider what might (and I feel, actually IS) be true. An abyss of a rabbit hole, forewarned, and thus fore-armed, indeed, but never to be imagined exactly how deep, as I do believe that no one has yet found the bottom—and perhaps ever will. A never-ending journey that more often than not, wearies the soul, and is the nemesis of those determined to discover truth and answers that might heal.
• <H3>  Although I am tempted to purchase her domain name to hold for her in case she wants to return… (I would try to convince her to return to the ethersphere, but I don’t think she’d even entertain it.) … I suspect it might be an intrusion of sorts. I’m only glad that I retrieved some of those articles and copied them; stuck them in a folder. I particularly loved, “Here We Go Again” and although the title of the post escapes me, the more recent where she agrees with Mark Passio (and so do I… I love it!) in saying that forgiveness is bullshit (my phraseology here. In my opinion, it’s so conjured in this new-ass movement of ours as to keep us all from being politically incorrect and remain “peaceful”…basically to shut us up -AND most importantly not allow for criminal or unethical behavior to be rehabilitated through the opportunity to make amends. Not her words, mine.) Anyway, I don’t care to get into it any deeper, but it was a particularly memorable post for me, and I’m sure that she took some flak for that one… I know I do, but at least I get to explain the entire concept in conversation. Once the words are committed to the post, however, like a note played, they can never be retracted. It takes guts, compassion, wisdom, and a lot of self-reflection to blog the way Mary did… those of us who got to read her are blessed in spades. A tribute to you, Mary, and a continued successful journey to you…may you soar evermore.

• <H1> Mr. Sinclair Weighs in on the Importance – and Significance of Gold…
• <H3> …AND…how China seems to get the big picture, the fact that you’re an unsecured lender to your bank, and the coming bail-ins (Cyprus Style). If this doesn’t convince you to take any money you have out of the bank and trade it in for some gold, nothing will.
• <H3> Now, if anything underscores our purpose here at thespiritofgold.com (empowerment through education and consciousness), it’s Mr. Sinclair’s recent address to the 2014 Hong Kong Mines and Money Conference, where he was the keynote speaker.
• <H3> As I understand it Mr. Sinclair has taken a lot of flak for some of his predictions, but this guy keeps coming back with the real goods. In the 70’s, Mr. Sinclair was one of the most influential gold traders (paper) of the day, and self-admittedly, and apparently single-handedly, did his share of manipulations through his control of the shares. By his own admission, it’s something he’s not all that proud of, but he seems to be putting it all right since then… at least from what I can see.
• <H3> Having paid his dues, and being the expert that he is on gold/money and the importance of physical gold, Mr. Sinclair has been asked, and accepted, to assume the position of Executive Chairman of the new Singapore Precious Metals Exchange!. Wow. Aside from having a bit of jet lag, and a being a crappy speech reader—( he’s much better when flying by the seat of his pants, but you’ll get the idea!)— he seems to be doing a damn good job.
• <H3> So, here’s the one-two punch Mr. Sinclair delivered in his keynote speech. This is valuable information, all the way around. Just underscores that gold is the great protector! • <H3> As far back as historians go, gold has been chosen by various societies to adorn bodies and create statues and busts replicating those held in high esteem. To be cast in gold an honor, indeed! As far back as 5000 years ago — before gold became “money” — it was used as a medium of exchange or barter so one could deduce that even then, it was considered desirable as a commodity comprising multiple dimensions.
• <H3> Through time have initiated myths and proverbs in which gold seems to be a common thread as the ultimate descriptive; woven with gold at the core. Those such as “the Goose that Laid the Golden Egg”, the tale of King Midas, and the spinning of straw into gold, teach children at an early age of the emotions, ethics, envy, and rewards of life and the results of our actions in living it. Sayings such as “heart of gold”, “worth its weight in gold”, “silence is golden”, “golden years”, “as good as gold”, “golden opportunity”, the “Golden Rule”, or “go for the gold” are all descriptive of gold having some type of divine status, without anyone having to explain any of these metaphors.
• <H3> That gold is so constant, yet malleable, is certain to be intrinsic to the seemingly universal choice to represent our very value in the world; and the fact that it is created from the explosion of a star certainly caps the lid on any doubt that it is indeed, a very spiritual metal and a perfect vehicle for the endeavor of Conscious, or Sacred, Commerce. • <H3> Spending into Oblivion, Gregory Mannarino’s September 29th writing on Greg Hunter’s USAWatchdog™, easily demonstrates that the US is not in ANY kind of economic recovery; quite the opposite: it is “spin-ning” out of control. Once again, the man behind the curtain becomes more and more discoverable as truth exposes “the facts, ma’am; just the facts”.
