The Horizon School strongly believes in this and every staff of the school works with the children having this key factor in mind. The Horizon School teachers inspire, touch the soul of every child they teach, bring out the creativity in children and prove that one pen, one book, one child and one teacher can make a mark in this world.
  • <H5> The classrooms at Horizon are an engaging environment where the students learn by connecting to real life situations, through activities, through opportunities for self-discovery, going on field trips and once in a while giving donning the role of the teacher. Children enjoy coming to school and leave with a sense of fulfillment.

It is built in “nalukettu”style, where classrooms open up to a courtyard where children can use the space for projects, activities and play.Besides, a teacher can open the windows of a classroom, have children stand by the windows to look out and watch a common program happening in the courtyard. Every courtyard has a game embedded on the floor such as hopscotch. This encourages children to play these games in an era when computer, tablets and mobile phones are turning into the primary source of “play” for children.
  • <H5> The goal of education is nested in not mere knowledge dissemination, but also building character and the rearing of socially sensitive individuals. At The Horizon School, we teach our children that education is the passport to a good future. We teach them that learning is a lifelong process and does not end with school or college. For this they engage in various community outreach and similar projects that would ignite social sensitivity in them.
