• <H3> Twin Falls High School Finance Academy on their field trip to Plant Therapy.
• <H3> Congratulations to Coleman Edwards, a senior at Twin Falls High School. He has successfully completed the National Registry Test for Emergency Medical Technician.

• <H3> Nine students represented the Canyon Ridge HOSA Chapter at the National HOSA Competition.  Kelly Feng won the gold medal for placing first at both the state and national competition by earning 294.8 hours of community service in one year.  Congratulations Kelly!!!
• <H3> Hunter Fife, a junior in the Minico High School Diesel Technology program, won the gold medal at the SkillsUSA State Leadership Conference and participated at the National SkillsUSA Conference in Louisville, Kentucky.  Congratulations, Hunter!
• <H3> Twelve Finance Academy students placed in the top 10 in eight events at the National Business Professionals of America Competition in May 2016.  They all were on stage for the awards and Kayla Wasden received third place recognition for Database Applications/MOS Access.    
• <H3> Sixteen Finance Academy students placed first in thirteen  events in the Business Professionals of America  Regional Competition.  In addition, another thirteen students placed second or third in six events which qualified them for state competition as well.  Instructor Lorraine Rapp was recognized for her years of service to BPA and her students when she was selected for the Korky Williams Legacy Award (Advisor of the Year) for her years of dedicated service to BPA.  This presentation was made at the state contest in March.
• <H3> Instructor Carrie Ploss has been chosen to be on the Technical Skill Assessment Development Team by the Division of Professional Technical Education.
• <H3> Twin Falls IT instructor, Jason Torgrimson took 12 students to the  SAINTCON CTF (Hacker Games) conference in Ogden, Utah October 27-30, 2015.  The conference is Utah’s Premiere Security Conference and lasted for four days. There, five students presented “NeverLAN CTF …Teaching the Younger Generation to Hack.” Read, in the students own words, about their project!!!

• <H3> Congratulations to the Cassia Regional Technical Center Robotics Team from the Electronics program.  They recently took 4th place at the international competition in Louisville, Kentucky out of 10,000 teams!  In addition, they came in 1st in eight competitions in Idaho, Nevada, Utah, and Hawaii during the 2014-2015 school year.  Click on the link below and then the news clip to see the students and robots in action.

• <H3> Congratulations to the Finance Academy program at Twin Falls High School. For the first time, students placed first in Economic Research and2nd in Financial Analyst at the National BPA Conference!!!
• <H3> Congratulations to the Twin Falls HS EMT program. They had three qualifiers for the HOSA Conference in Anaheim for the first time!
• <H3> The Twin Falls Information Technology program had five students recently recognized by Governor Otter at the Educate Idaho Network Launch Conference for their work on website and resource directory.
• <H3> The Buhl Automotive Technology students assisted Care Convey by doing all the needed repair work on a donated firetruck which went to Lebaron, Mexico this summer.   Lebaron is a small rural community which has primitive emergency services.  The Kimberly Information Technology program assisted in the process by preparing a video as well.  Click on the link to view the  video.
