One school of thought says God is interested in sports because he desires and loves to be involved in every of man’s undertakings, while another holds a contrary view that God can’t be involved in an activity such as sports.(He is too big and too busy for that.)
So today, we are going to be digging into the scriptures to ascertain what the mind of God is, as regards this probing issue.
History has it that most of the sports in existence today originated from the ancient civilizations of Europe and Asia, but the underlining truth by revelations of scriptures is that all sports were created by God.
How do we know this- The word of God. The most reliable source of the Truth made available and accessible to man.
In Job 32:8 we are told that, there is a sprit in man and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding. That is the spirit of God working in unison with that of man’s , jointly brings into existence things that God wants to be.
Similarly, in John 1:3, it tells us, all things were made by God without him was not anything made that was made.
If you observe closely the biblical use of the word “All”,it says all, which is sports inclusive.
Christian athletes, all things, all sports, everything both visible and invisible existing on earth today were created by your God, by inspiring men.
And you will do agree with me that, we serve the only wise God, who cannot possibly create something he is not interested in. He (God) is not a FOOL.
Please, I want you to know that the only person that would want to blind you to the fact that God is interested in sports is the devil who is man’s arch enemy.
Why does he do this?
To stop you from gunning for excellence.
To stop you from believing that God would want you to achieve great success in your field through his assistance.
To have his cohorts (devils human agents) continue their oppression in the world of sports.
The devil knows that the moment you catch the revelation that God is interested in sports, it will drive you to excellence as your zeal will not only be ignited but will also be unquenchable as your believe in God’s supernatural assistance to make you soar higher.

God created you an athlete; He put that potential in you. You are not an accident of creation, you are a heavenly masterpiece. A creation of destiny, created for an expected end which ultimately culminates in his divine plan.

Also in,
Colossians 3:17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the LORD JESUS, giving thanks to God and the father by him.
Brothers and sisters if God desires that you glorify him through your career, then it means God is interested in it, and would go to any length to assist you get to the top. This is revelation the devil will never want you to catch.
Hear this, without arriving at the top in your field; there is no way you can fully glorify God in your career.
