• <H5> What a pleasant and comfortable 8-night stay at the de Morphee B & B on the beautiful L'ile de Orleans neighboring Quebec City. Everything was excellent: out-of-this-world, off-the-charts three-course breakfasts; clean, comfortable rooms; beautiful grounds; gracious hospitality by our hosts, Marc et Louise. They go all out!! We've travelled a lot and the breakfasts were the best ever. The total ambience of this B & B in particular and the "L'ile" in general are ideal if you are looking for a place to relax and "drink in" nature at its finest. Would recommend this Inn to one and all. Hope to stay there again some time soon.- Ken M. Stillwater, Oklahoma, U.S.A.
• <H5> The B&B is a breath taking site, in and of itself, sitting on top of a hill overlooking the St. Lawrence River. As you drive up the long winding driveway, all of sudden as you turn the final corner, you are struck by the well manicured grounds, gardens and the home itself. It's charming and spectacular. Behind the house is their vegetable garden with some picking flowers, a spa, a pond inhabited with ducks and geese and their animals ( chickens, sheep, and bees). Yes, Marc tends to a bee colony from which he makes his delicious honey. The view out our bedroom window on a dewy morning was so picturesque. Inside showed the evidence a lot of work that the couple has done. They spend an entire year making the house into the B&B restoring much of the original home and adding the extra rooms. There are hardwood floors, beautiful art work, antiques, and tasteful decor throughout. Words just can't express how comfortable, yet elegant, their home is.
