• <H2> APRIL 2016. Well, I do declare, I am back from t'brink.OK, SO SORRY PEEPS. I't been a long time. Most of you probably know I had been waiting for a hip operation for the best part of 3 years because of my age and problematic complications but now I'm  actually  back fitter and healthier after my total hip operation. It's great to know you've been checking out the site as i've had some very healthy viewing numbers.... ( photo later ).Hope to see you all soon, minus crutches,  with a jaunty lilt in my step and a song in my heart......... ( ?????? See you soon Dave.​​​2015's winter re-union. A low turnout in a horribly noisy Giddy Bridge with yours truly struggling badly with my hip/legs and I had to call it a day. Batts prob so no pix from me but loads by Kathy of course. More later.( a problem in communications so no heads up from me i'm afraid and a likely reason for a poor response. Sorry nothing posted for a while but I had another operation in early January which unfortunately seems not to have worked so on we go as best we can. BUT I was glad to hear from Kathy that the next U25 re-Union will be on April 11th ! ! ! More news on venue and timing as soon as I get it.September 27th 2014 Re- Union a MASSIVE success.Thank you Kathy for putting it together.My head was aching from laughing so much.See alan's blog for review/details/photos if I can do it before Team Silvestri head to our place in Italy for a few weeks. 2014-re-union time has a few piccies on it. Sorry to the 182 people who looked at the site on the 28th, to see if there was any review/pics from the night before.........................I was pooped and had Mr Diaper to entertain ! ! NB Cannot access alan's blog for some reason. See 2014-re-union for updates. Al.....................................................................Next re-union this Saturday, 27th September. (This year is shooting past !)Yes, it's time for another U25 ( DCU ) re-union. They do go hand in hand don't they.See alan's blog for details.Depressingly I was ill again for June, July and part of August but i'm better now thankfully. BIGGER and BETTER ! ! ! Oh dear, a bit too much bigger and too little better, thanks to too much medicinal  Lucozade, grapes, chocolate and Lard sandwiches washed down with with Porter, Guinness and Stout. See you Saturday.
