• <H2> Bank House PressFinally, it looks as if a long-held dream might be coming true, being our own publisher.  It’s not quite there, yet, with the website under construction as I type, but sooner or later… Over the years I have written more than sixty books, fifty-two of which have been published and the remainder are works outside the remit of my current publisher, therefore with little chance of publication – unless I undertake it myself. As many of my back list have never been for sale as e-books, this is a further incentive to ex-digitate and send my babies out into the cyber world.At the start, we envisaged a very simple system that would enable us to put our work on-line in the quickest and easiest way, possible, but once we started working on ‘the big plan’ and mentioned it to others, a strange thing happened. Various colleagues and friends from almost every sphere of our lives have been contacting us to find out when we’ll be ‘going live’ and if we’ll be accepting manuscripts from others. There are high-flown academic works and how-to books among them as well as fiction from almost every genre.  Some authors have tried to interest main-stream publishers, without success, others have been published only to have their work abandoned to the further reaches of cyberspace.​ Currently I’m completing a trilogy (one part written during NaNoWriMo – a brilliant way to motivate yourself to construct the complete skeleton of a book in the shortest time possible – after all, you can’t do re-writes if you haven’t written anything!) I’ve also been writing in – for me – experimental genres with one work combining present-day action with events a century ago, another a mixture and fantasy and present-day, another a woman-in-jeopardy and a police procedural.
